My half brother lives in Bay City, I visit him often. Head over to Matagorda Bay and drive the beach
that's how it starts! There is an incredible brain trust of pipe restorers on here. I've tapped into them a few times.

Welcome indeed from New York. Like everything--from farm furniture to Ferraris to renaissance frescoes--the "best practices" of pipe restoration is a hot topic, especially with earlier and more valuable pipes.
