This sounds very interesting. I am excited to read JimInk's reviews of these new offerings.

I'm working on them now. The Green review is pretty much done, and I just got the Yellow today. I'm just waiting to be told when I can release the reviews. I'll post them on this forum when I can.

OK Jim answer me this one. Why the different colored tins? Does this indicate the addition of something different like War Horse Green or is it a strength guide? I see they are in the latest P&C catalogue so I thought I'd ask before pulling the trigger.

Simon, they are just an indicator of which blend is which as far as I can see. Frankly, the Yellow is probably too mild for your particular tastes. So far, I rate it as mild to medium in strength, slightly leaning toward the milder side.

Is‘nt it nice to see that some companies produce new blends instead of stopping to produce them or going out of business altogether? I love the actual VaDFK version but I‘m looking forward to try the new flankers.

Wondering if anyone has any feedback?
I've dug into the yellow some. Nothing earth-shattering but I like it quite a bit.
Haven't tried the green but (to my rookie nose) it smells a bit like Directors Cut.

To be honest. I'm five bowls in the the 3 Nuns Green. It's O.K.. So far I've struggled to find the love. I'll keep at it.
I sat down last night in a quiet setting and good state of mind and filled a bowl with Green. All the variables for a good smoke were in place. I was still not tasting much and it was kinda sour. Maybe it's too young still. I may have to sit on this one a few months and revisit.

Went through a can of the Green and it really is very good. Similar to Cabbie's mix, though Green is less strong to my taste. I will be re-ordering.

Crash, I think so. Not the same, but they remind me of each other. Even the tobacco is cut in a similar way, small disks. Cabbies has a little more vinegary tang, while Green is more smokey/cedar.
My uneducated pallet does find them in the same family.
