onestrangeone, I don't see the new smoking buddy, and you don't describe her. I think she may be a dog, cat, or bird, but I don't know that. I am a compulsive nominator of names for peoples' pets, and I'd be happy to offer a few, but I think I have to know who or what I am naming.

It's like naming a baby. It's hard to hit a name that clicks with the new "parent," but I always like to try. When I name my own animals, I make a list that goes on and on. One of my favorite names was for a big orange tabby cat that looked like a cougar that I named Linwood. It fit him, and he responded to it immediately.
