She actually responds to Ash, Ashley is a good bet at the moment,
on a sad note the cat Jazz just passed on, I let him go out about an hour ago. I went out and called him about twenty minutes ago, checked the porch about five minutes later and he there but it was obviously his time, I brought him in and held him until it was over. Rest in Peace Jazz Katt
the cycle of life certainly provides a few good reasons to tear up. Just think about how many years that kitty got to be loved and cuddled and spoiled.
onestrangeone, condolences on your loss of Jazz. Having a succession of cats in my life, I think of them as a royal succession, and having talked with a vet about it, I think it is a special honor when a well-loved animal passes in your arms. That happened to me in recent times, a sturdy little tuxedo female cat, Bella, who lived about 20 years. She looked me squarely in the eyes, made a soft announcement, and departed. It seals a special bond of trust. Most have required an assist at the end, but all "return" as honored guests in time and memory. Hail to Jazz.
I'm sorry to hear about that. I had two of my cats die in my arms with seizures and all, it's heartbreaking.
But on to the new life and happier things, I'm glad to hear that the pup responds to Ash/Ashy/Ashley.
The past days I thought for quite a while about names while looking at that cute thing and couldn't come up with anything better.
It just fits and she even responds to it. I still wanna throw in my two peanuts so here are a few names.
