Thank you, Harris. I will most certainly be sure to add some Obsidian oil to my next tobacco order. The carnauba wax will have to do until then. Walker Briar just shipped my stem restore kit today. So far it's been great service from them!

The Walker kit came on Monday (I ordered on Friday I believe so that's very impressive). It took me a few polishes and their method for removing deeper oxidation and now it's nice black and shiny. There is still some oxidation in there I believe as if I shine a flashlight directly on the stem it still has that green color. To the naked eye it looks perfect so I'll worry about the oxidation if I can see it. I was never getting an adverse taste from the oxidation so that's a non-concern.
PAD is hitting me pretty hard and right now I have $40 store credit at SP burning a hole in my pockets so I'm trying to decide between a few pipes and would appreciate input. I know all these pipes are quality and I like the way they all look but I'm wondering if one will be much better than the others in terms of long-term value, quality, and smokeability.
Cavicchi Rusticated Brandy- I hear these are great smokers and it's the first rusticated pipe I have actually wanted, mostly because of the gorgeous birdseye-laden smooth rim around the top of the bowl. It is one of their cheaper ones but I hear that is not a problem.

Winslow Bent Dublin- I want to add a Dublin to my collection and this seems like an awesome choice.

Neerup- The price on these scare me for how attractive they are but many have vouched for their quality. This is probably the one I care for the least out of these, those I think it is very interesting looking.

Help me make the decision easier :)

As far as the Neerups go I was able to handle a few awhile back. I was really impressed with them. All the drilling and cuts were precise and it just plain felt good in my hand. It's a brand id ask to see again when I go back to that shop. The price was why originally drew me to it. No idea on their smoking rep.
That Cavicchi is sharp. Congrats!

Jah, I'll probably add a Neerup next, at the prices they are they won't break the bank. Thanks!
Congratualtions! I love the shape and the rustication on your new Cavicchi. And if you're OK with the plastic stem, you also won;t have to deal with any oxidation
Thanks Roth! I've wanted both a bent dublin and a bent brandy and seeing as I've never taken a liking to a rusticated pipe I've found for sale I decided to jump on this one. I'm sure vulcanite is a nicer material but due to the fact it wont oxidize and that I use the rubber bit tips (so it wont chip my teeth, lol) I don't really mind.

Thank you, good sir! Also have University Flake and a Peterson 2 pipe bag coming with the Cavicchi so I can finally stop awkwardly carrying my supplies every time I decide to take a pipe along :)

Nice thread and might I add I am experimenting using a armor all knockoff (cheaper) from dollar store for a finish on deoxidized stems. So far so good.
