I am just curious and not trying to poke the bear but why can people not put whatever they want in their sig as long as it’s not huge in size or offensive? Like a Latin phrase.. why ban that from a signature?

I can understand the posts being made in English as some apparently can’t understand how to use translators.
As usual, one or two people ruin it for the rest.

Just like other recent new rules, this didn't come from something recent, but rather from a while back. I like to think on things for some time before making new rules.

We had people using other languages to make fun of other forum participants in public without them knowing what was said. I also think it's rude in general to speak a different language that not everyone speaks for the purpose of them not knowing what is being said in the conversation.

Unfortunately, it's not possible to ok some instances, and not others. We have to disallow all of it.
