Oh man, this is hands down one of the funniest threads I’ve read in a long time. I just scrolled down passed Woodsroad’s story to see some of the pictures. My daughter is sitting on my lap right now and she doesn’t understand why I can’t stop laughing and no, I won’t show her any of these adult mushroom/potato pictures... ahahaha! I’m crying over here. Jeez!

Pinhead- no one is belittling you or your research by making fungus puns or telling goofy stories. Remember, you began this thread with being publicly “pissed off” at a mistaken belief that your post was removed, for which you apologized. I personally would love to hear more about your mycological research regarding the curative properties of fungus. But this isn’t a lab, it’s a group of people, most of whom are pretty likable. It’s never going to be a controlled environment, free from the contamination of humor, however poor or quality.

I seriously can’t imagine studying this stuff and not finding humor in these jokes, I guess it’s just beneath you? I don’t see anything even remotely offensive about having some fun with fungi. I’m sorry you’re not enjoying yourself, pinhead, clearly, the rest of us are. I’m glad you are saving lives but laughter is the best medicine.
