New pipe!

Just wanted to share.
Picked up this beauty tonight at the Gatlinburlier in Gatlinburg, TN. Richard made me a great deal &, as always, was a pure delight to chat with. Can’t wait to break it in.

Thank you. Churchwardens are actually my personal favorites. I only have 2. One is a piece of junk. Smokes terribly, and I’ve given up on it. But the other is a 2000 GBD that’s been my favorite pipe for 20 years. But now I have 3!

Wow, another great looking long pipe acquisition on here. I recently eyeballed churchwardens myself, while fantasizing about growing my hair out and switching my wardrobe to something more long and flowing. I do have a MM churchwarden that I smoke now and then but yours…. that’s nice. Enjoy!

I will need to talk to you sometime about an evil spell that I suspect has been cast on me. I mean, it’s not debilitating, but it’s just that I keep losing things, then I forget what it was I was looking for.

I love those as well. I have a Savinelli “Gandalf” 901. I love it. But I strictly smoke aromatics in it. I’m planning to designate this Nording as my English churchwarden

My first ever churchwarden was a GBD I bought in 2000. They released them in conjunction with the films, & each respective was branded with 1, 2, or 3 rings. Here’s mine! I still love it.

I've been to Gatlinburg twice, once with my family as a teenager and years later with my late wife when we took the ski lift to the top and went ice skating. That's a handsome pipe with a scenic origin story.
