It’s a quite interesting place. It’s only about a 3-hour drive from where we live, so we pop in at least once a year for a long weekend. Sometimes we’ll go twice. Used to go there every summer on a mini-vacation with my parents & loved it. Now I get to take my wife & kids. I always make it a point to visit the local tobacconists. Gatlinburlier is an excellent little shop with a nearly 50-year history. The staff are all gentlemen & scholars & just the friendliest bunch you’ll ever meet. & they seem to actually enjoy conversing with the customers.I've been to Gatlinburg twice, once with my family as a teenager and years later with my late wife when we took the ski lift to the top and went ice skating. That's a handsome pipe with a scenic origin story.
