I was immediately drawn to the SP banner featuring really nice photographs of the pipes. I love great sandblasts and the Dublin featured in the banner is beautiful, even if it has a P-lip. However, all of the sandblasts for purchase, or at least remaining for purchase, are nowhere near the level in the come on. The best ones could already be sold or it could simply be what we call in the Law "Advertising puffery".

I've never even seen a pub pipe that came in any shape other than the usual Hungarian, but now we have monster billiards (similar to the house pipe) and, best of all, Dublins! I've been harping about Peterson releasing a nice, big Dublin and my wish has come true. Anybody else snatch one of these up?

I like them and looked out of curiosity.
They're nice.
I just prefer bent shapes most all the time.

I know I've seen them somewhere, the thing is I am not sure it wasn't in a dream.

Maybe Sp.eu will have some with filters ... Sp.com seems resistant to offering Petes with filters. I don't know why as they always sell out.
From my understanding filters are much bigger in Europe then America. And in both places that many people are completely on one side or the other. They only smoke with a filter or never do. So why would they shift a pipe to a market that has less people who would buy a particular pipe from another market where there is a large demand. Sure some Americans will buy them, but the few that will certainly do so can just buy the pipe from Europe if they really want it. One thing people forget with retail is shelf space or warehouse space costs money and any space used for something that rents that space for a long time means that it can't be used on something that will move.
I guess my point is that it's not in their best interests to carry every variant they can and even though there is a market it makes more sense to spend their time and money on something that will certainly move in a more timely manner.
