I care less about it being called a "pub pipe" and more about finally getting a Peterson Dublin with a nice, big bowl!Interesting. But, when I think pub pipe, it will always be a Hungarian to me. Otherwise it would be sacrilege.
I don't think pub pipes have sold for a hundred bucks since the 90's...
I only have a coupla Dublins, one of which is an old, straight blasted Hilson with similar dimensions but with a square shank.
I like them and looked out of curiosity.
I really like how the bend of the stem changes soooo much in those three pipes. that circled one must be an easy shit to clean..

From my understanding filters are much bigger in Europe then America. And in both places that many people are completely on one side or the other. They only smoke with a filter or never do. So why would they shift a pipe to a market that has less people who would buy a particular pipe from another market where there is a large demand. Sure some Americans will buy them, but the few that will certainly do so can just buy the pipe from Europe if they really want it. One thing people forget with retail is shelf space or warehouse space costs money and any space used for something that rents that space for a long time means that it can't be used on something that will move.
