sterilized beech chips at that. That process doesn't really change the flavor but all the flimflam and particles get stuck to the beech wood clarifying the beer. Or at least that's the probably not correct thing I've heard. Though I'am sure the part about it not being as impressive as it sounds holds up well.Budweiser's beer is "aged" ( for just 19 Day’s ) in stainless steel barrels with some beech chips on the bottom.
