You know, as I grow older, I am pleased to see that the world is still capable of providing me with wonder and amazement.
For example:
I wonder how people can be so easily offended by that which is utterly inoffensive.
And I am amazed that anyone could think that generously putting tobacco in a box -- while laudable -- is somehow the moral equivalent of storming the beach at Normandy.

Seriously, The Box is just about as full as it can get. You'll see, it's got some serious lid bulge. I went overboard with the tape to ensure the thing stays together, but the only way to re-pack it is to make sure you press all the air out of each bag before sealing.

Great box.
You can see my full write up on page 21 of this thread. Big treats for me were finally trying Balkan Sobranie (which, to be honest, was great but not transcendent) and SPC Plum Pudding (which I loved).
I have saved the sample of H&H Vintage Syrian (2006!) that I pulled to try tomorrow afternoon, so looking forward to that.

@bear. I have some Penzance being sent by a kindly brother @derfargin. So I will be sure that you have some when it is your turn my friend! I want to try the Plum Pudding as well, and I will add some PlumCake to the box when it comes as well.

Lucky, derfargin is a +1 guy. Anyone that shares Penzance deserves eternal gratitude!
Seeing how folks are sharing the best of their best in the Box Pass reaffirms my conviction that pipe smoking is not just about pleasure, but about goodwill and the ability to create good out of whole cloth. Some might call it "enabling", and I don't think that is a bad thing. Nay, it is a good thing, a sharing of the wealth of the senses and enjoyment of the here and now.
