I’m trying to date this Charatan so that I can properly list it on eBay. I really don’t know much about Charatans, so any help would be appreciated.
It says “Trafalgar”, “212”, “Charatan” in print, over “of London” in script, “REG° N°”, over “203573” on the stem, and then the CP logo (as pictured).

As I recall the 203573 design patent was granted about 1965 for a term of 14 years, so that gives you the relevant range. Maybe someone else can help narrow that a bit further.

The stem logo may be the clue that most clearly narrows the dating. The C does not enter the P. According to Fabio Ferrara, that dates your pipe to as early as 1980, but probably later.

older, pre-Dunhill pipes (Reuben and Lane era) should be marked CHARATAN'S MAKE, i believe. So this must be post-Dunhill acquisition...

Given the statutory 14 year design protection in effect in the Sixties the pipe was presumptively made between 1966-1980:

If you believe that the pipe was made after Lane’s acquisition by Dunhill (and I’m agnostic on this point), which took place in the Spring of 1976, then the date of manufacture is narrowed to ~ 1976-1980:

Modern production. I’ll guess yours is from the 90’s-00’s. The finish on your pipe is identical to a BC I used to have. Current Trafalgar pipes retail around the £70-£80 mark.
