It's been too long since I was able to buy nasal snuffs from my old local b&m. I remember having tried ordering some online a few years back but finding that purchases weren't allowed in USA. Not sure if it was the vendor or regulatory BS. Can anyone say if/how/where I can buy nasal snuff to have delivered to the USA? I miss it.

yeah you can get it from either Mr Snuff or from Toque. I tend to go through Toque more often and just get bulk orders of bespoke. Though Mr Snuff has a huge selection. You can't send cigs or smokeless tobacco through the mail. Pipe tobacco and cigars are fine. You can get nasal snuff through the mail because of certain international agreements that super scede the newer law. I could try and explain it more but the bottom line is I can't send it from here but because it's something legal coming from England we can't say no.

I've had a Mr snuff shipment not arrive, but who knows that happened there I never made a stink of it.

Toque ships very fast and I've had no issues with them. Cheap too.

mr snuff has a flat 5 dollar shipping on orders over 35 dollars
has been reliable for me. Though because of the way royal mail works it can take a while to resolve some issues. But they will be resolved.
Have you tried Sam's Club or cigarette stores?
Not a huge selection and super regional. Food Lion is more likely to have something.

I like this Tube Rose. It's made by American Snuff. We have a handful of brands and flavors available. It's available at about 75 percent of stores around me in Alabama.

I like the stuff, but it's just a mess.. I get boogers and start sneezing. I just can't use snuff without it being an ordeal. I still get a wild hair every once in a while. The nicotine rush is intense. Intense like a first ever cigarette ..

The Tube Rose has a floral flavor going on, it sticks around and is pretty nice. The story is that if a woman smells a tube rose, she'll get her jollies right on the spot.

A lot of grannies around here dip it. I don't know how you'd do that without choking on the dust. I wonder if it still turns them on? When they all kick the bucket, and they're due to any day, I'm sure it'll be gone.

is the shipping pretty bad?

Shipping from Toque & Artisan Snuff (both owned by the same man) is fantastic and service is top notch. Mr Snuff is good in a pinch (no pun intended), but once I had an order not arrive and when I tried to call in their shopping guarantee, they wouldn't honor it at first, saying it was "a typographical error." They eventually refunded me, but I had to mention a chargeback on my credit card.

I stick with orders from Toque/Artisan Snuff now.

Oh nasal snuff.... I absolutely love the stuff. So much so that I decided it's one of those things I'm better off leaving alone.

Having said that, I've had good luck with Mr.Snuff. My last order arrived in less than a week - from New York, interestingly.

that's the rub it's really an old person thing and they mainly dip it. Which is easier then you think once you get the technique down. I've only done it with similar Indian snuffs (fine grind, very dry, food grade lime [a.k.a. pickling lime]). I couldn't do it all the time it's really kind of harsh and the taste doesn't leave your mouth for a long time, well long enough to taint most things you eat after wards. Here it was like a certain generation did it. The one place you do find what they call sniffing snuff here are in the coal mining towns. More former coal mining towns. Yeah back to the first point as a certain generation dies off these become less common. I occasionally see an old person using this stuff and it always turns out they have a son or daughter who lives down south and sends them their snuff rations. (I do want to point out too we are talking ancient like 90 and up).

Really not sadly as they are all disgusting.
From what I can tell they're the Durian fruit of the tobacco world. People either rave about them or find them disgusting. I'd like to try some just to form my own opinion. You know with no more expectation then it will be an experience. That said I am the same guy who is glad I've smoked Bugler rolling tobacco. Which is so bad that when I chain smoked Drum and only the money for bugler I'd smoke two cigs of that garbage a day. The only people I've talked to who had any positive feelings about bugler where people who bought it at the prison commissary when that was still a thing.

The late satirist, journalist, and author P.J. O'Roark had a stretch in his young life when he hosted snuff parties and became sort of famous for them in NYC. I wasn't a guest, but know those who were.

The 18th Century had a big trend in snuff and fancy snuff boxes were a luxury item in precious metals and adorned with gem stones. Those are still big items in art museums. Tobacco was pricey in those days, and snuff even more so, so the snuff didn't catch on with the working man, though pipes did.

Well most they have this sickening artificial sweetness, it's like snorting some Equal or Sweet and Low!

This is absolutely correct for many of them - just threw away a tin of Red Seal I had forgotten about. It tasted like aspartame. Now a straight American scotch, like Bruton, is unsweetened and if you like Dark Fired Kentucky, this stuff satisfies. I haven't been able to find out whether Bruton is made with DFK, or if it's the scorching ("scotching") process of kilning the snuff that creates the smokey aroma. Either way, American scotch snuffs are probably the strongest I've tried. I do wish it wasn't so finely ground.
