Nasal Snuff in USA?

Either way, American scotch snuffs are probably the strongest I've tried. I do wish it wasn't so finely ground.

That's really the main reason it's so strong. Surface area lets you get more of the nicotine out of it. I think they're primarily made from standard burly. If you want something strong and not fine ground you need to try South African snuffs which generally aren't that different then Copehagen. Those are strong because of two things whatever they add to them to alkalize them and that they're so moist you can literally stick half a tin up your nose and have it stay put. Oh and they're primarily used under the lip too.

I assume you are talking about Taxi? I use to enjoy the yellow although it often rolled out of my nose... I hope to get to SA one day for the Taxi and the ludes.

I'm pretty sure the strength comes from the strain(s) of tobacco used as well as the alkalizing agent. Look at the South African brands - coarse grind (less surface area), yet strong as crap.

I've got trouble with South African snuffs - the coarse grind does not stay in my nose long.

I once drove way out of my way to buy some Moroccan snuff as I was desperate. I forget the name was like El something and I believe MrSnuff carries it. Well, when I got in the car after buying it (some place in Center City Philly btw) I determined it was actually to be used as dip, maybe I was wrong. I didn't touch Snus back then and let me tell you I put a pinch in my lip and this stuff knocked me on my tuckus. I ended up toss the cannister on I-95 I believe. Probably didn't help that I was severely hungover.

Also, scotch american snuff is the devil. I've tried a bunch (havent dipped it yet), but it's waaay too fine and dry to snoot.

I've just started trying the German nasal snuff. I ordered a variety of them a while back. Nasal snuff comes in really handy during jobs I can't smoke a pipe or running around with family.
Yesterday I snuffed all day while antiquing with my wife and my mother and father.
It satisfied and was discrete.
I've placed 2 orders with Mr. Snuff with no issues.
It looks to me that it comes out of New York somewhere.
I'm really enjoying it.

Yea, I'm on fire! Woo-hoo! But if you must know it's the use of a shipping consolidator. Several orders are shipped from the UK together and then the parcels are sent to the US addresses from the consolidator, in this case "inexpress".

"InXpress is a global shipping franchise organisation delivering great carrier solutions to small and medium sized businesses for domestic and international document, parcel, and package shipments via our carrier partners such as DHL, TNT, USPS and UK Mail."

Snuff shipments cannot originate from a US address, duh.

This is my first time with nasal snuff, so I didn't really know what to look for. I just bought a few different things from GH and F&T and some different bullets of Toque brand snuff.

Is there any special care I need to take in keeping this stuff?

Like pipe tobacco, if its something you enjoy- place a very big order and keep the snuff tins in big mason jars.
