She's also a pipe smoker with her own cellar but I've caught her in mine.

You actually asked the same question a few years ago. Here she is again. She's camera shy so I had to sneak this one back in September.

You can tell by the expression that she wasn't amused. :ROFLMAO:
I do remember asking years ago hahaha. Just like proof once and a while that you aren't making her up! Hahahaha. Lucky guy!!!

"The wife is going to kill me"

Seriously, I hated that feeling. I was always feeling guilty and more or less hiding my purchases. No sweetheart, I was born with all these pipes. Always had em! Lmao

No longer an issue in my house! puffy

My wife moved out last week, and I immediate contacted a carver about a commission!
Just so you know the more you enjoy single life the sooner you'll meet the most amazing lady who likes you for some reason (nothing wrong with you just how the bomb she'll be.). Or in other words enjoy it for what it is while it lasts.

She should meet my friend Julian he hates his pictures being taken and has the same expression in all his pictures. Dude is a ray of sunshine normally.
Oh and dig that image on the pants that isn't clear to make out.

Just made my largest tobacco purchase yet. I bought 5 3.5oz tins of Orlik Golden Sliced, 8oz of PS Luxury Twist Flake, 4oz of C&D Bayou Morning, 2oz of LL Black Raspberry, 1 tin of Cult Blood Red Moon. Ive been meaning to start stocking up but its been difficult lately. Finally had the spare cash. Wife will most likely scold me but that was a risk I am willing to take. I mean i got 20% off my order and free shipping. How could i pass that up. Super happy to have some Orlik built up as thats one of my favorite blends.
Find out when it will be delivered.
Give her your credit card and suggest she goes out shopping on the day 😁

You got off easy this time! Reading the title of the post, I was bracing for the inevitable wave of manifestos on the dreaded pussification of men etc etc 😂

My overused justification when the latest order comes in is always "it was on sale! I'm practically making money buying now!". But she's wise to my tricks and used my (somewhat spotty) logic against me to redecorate our living room with the Black Friday sales. Can't win em all!

When I first started smoking cigars my wife wasn't happy, but I wasn't spending a lot my purchases. Slowly I began to build up my stash and expand to multiple humidors. She wasn't happy but didn't give me too much grief. If I had a big order I might get yelled at for a moment, but nothing terrible. Most comments came when I was actually smoking. She hates that I smoke cigars/pipes.

When I started smoking pipes she was definitely irritated; as if my cigars weren't enough, now I was buying pipes and tobacco. Over time she stopped giving me so much grief when I smoked to the point that she preferred I'd just stick to pipes and get rid of the cigars. That didn't happen, but at least she's gotten to the point that she will sit on the porch or the patio with me while having a pipe or cigar. Now when I buy cigars/tobacco she just gives me a look of... you don't have enough already? I always respond to her look with some dumb answer.

I've always felt it was better to ask for forgiveness then to ask for permission; however, if I'm making a large purchase, such as buying an expensive pipe, I run it by her and wait until finances can support the purchase. I'd like to live long enough to enjoy all these cigars, pipes, and tobaccos.

@didimauw- I’ve been married over 25ys. Three different women, but still…
After #2 I fancied being a bachelor and a “I’m here for a good time, not a long time” kinda guy.
I met #3 shortly after splitting up, but I made no pretenses about being anything other than me and her the same. As long as we don’t lie, don’t cheat, and don’t make promises we can’t keep…so far so good (11yrs).
Divorce is never fun, may it pass quickly.

As to the topic, I didn’t smoke a pipe before we met so I don’t “put my foot down”, but as long as I can fulfill my financial obligations I’m free to do as I wish.
That said, I haven’t declared the pound of assorted GH&Co blends that are coming my way currently, but she’s a coupon kinda gal and I did get 15% off and free shipping😉
