Just dry it with pipe cleaners, and paper towels in the bowl and tenon, wipe the outside with soft cloths, then let it air dry.... That should do the trick. You shouldn't have any real problems, unless it stayed in the water for more than just a short time. Once you dry the tenon I would replace the stem and let it dry... Just in case the wood swells. IMHO... don't take that as gospel, that's just what I would do.
I'm sure others will have some ideas on this rather unique problem.
