Interesting, all my Neerups, the chambers are huge, even on the small pipes.I had the opposite thought. Lovely as Peder's work is, the chambers were too small to keep.

Thanks for the info, that clarifies it for me! Well, my first Neerup is a 3. So I guess I got 2,3 and 4 covered. What is the highest grade for these?Mine is like said a grade 2, according to the seller 22x44 mm inside dimensions, higher grade 3 is 21x43mm but with somekind of metal on the band, there is also a grade 4 for sale which is smaller at 21x38 but with it seems silver band. The grains on both higher grades are clearly nicer than mine.
My largest was .76"x 1.67".Interesting, all my Neerups, the chambers are huge, even on the small pipes.
If anyone didn't know, Neerup was named for Peder's grandmother.I've not seen Neerups higher as 4. The more exclusive lines are under his own name P. Jeppesen.
I’ve been doing some soft browsing myself. I don’t think I can justify another pipe right now but if I was going to buy one I like how Neerup shapes and wood look, often with a high polish revealing exceptional grain.Nice. I’ve been looking hard at adding a Neerup to the herd
