My PAD has become an overnight Ebay addiction

Last night after a couple of beers I ended up bidding on 4 pipes! I've won one and the others I'm winning.
I think I am sick.
Please help - at this rate in my first year of pipe smoking I will own hundreds of pipes....... 8O

What you said, and there are alternate uses for pipes. They are a great way to keep rings safe when you wash your hands, and I'm told that a full pipe hanger is the best possible tie rack...

It's hopeless. Ebay, cell phone apps, site advertisers, your lap top. Every minute of every day you have access to pipes of just about any kind you might fancy. We need to start a PAD Anonymous. Even when you're trying to be good, someone posts a link and you find yourself on Ebay. While you're there you might as well check out your saved searches just to see what's around and there it is and it's beautiful. You can't help yourself, the bid is in. And all that is before you have a libation or two, after which just about anything goes.

I've had it almost a year and have never smoked it. I don't know why not. Maybe the thought of a spider being stuck in that tube gets to me. I will say that pipe gets the most comments when I take it out to show visitors.

The problem with only buying cheap pipes is that you then can rationalize buying MORE of them!

In my first two years I bought about 100 pipes it did slow down for me when I started to learn more and I haven't bought one in a while (all from ebay). Now I know that im bidding against some smarter people I don't bother. That said I have managed to blindly win two transitional Barlings.
