cosmicfolklore I make pipe racks as a fun little hobby and that is an excellent use for antlers. I used 30-06 cases for the uprights when I have them. I also like to use oak planks and natural slices of hardwood logs. I spend a great deal of time in the outdoors camping, hunting and hiking and these racks really suit my personality.
I also use store bought lumber but I really like the more natural looking log slices.

Jkrug, those are some really nice pipe racks. I completely agree with the natural lumber look, especially the apple wood one. Have you considered making and selling them, I'm sure there would be some interested buyers on the site:) awesome cabinet as well, some day I may have more pipes to fill a spot that would require something like that but I will love the journey to get there. Great Job!
