Their higher grades have really been stepping up
Thank you! That is a unique grain and finish, striking! Congratulations, enjoy!
I've fallen in. I'm actually writing from inside the grain.Wow. You could get lost in there...
If I had a connection, I don't think I would've paid so much for it. ?I've never seen that much bird's eye on one pipe. You must know somebody at the factory.
They call it a 'black and white' finish due to the high contrast. I had never heard of it before I came across this pipe. What do they call that tiger-eye contrast stain?
What seller? They made that up ?They call it a 'black and white' finish due to the high contrast. I had never heard of it before I came across this pipe.
Yes incredibly unimpressive grain. ?Beautiful! Surprised though to see this on a Peterson. In my ignorance I equal Peterson pipes with nice classic shapes, dark colours, rustification, sandblasting and occasional questionable colour schemes. Even the few light/natural coloured pipes I can find tend to have rather unimpressive grain.
Yes.. my point was: out of perhaps 300? Petersons on the Smokingpipes.eu page there are only a handful like this. Does not diminish the beautiful pipes (and I have a rather nice Spigot myself).. but makes it the absolute exception..Yes incredibly unimpressive grain. ?

They don’t even have any deluxe systems they sell so fast. Trust me a lot have grain like this and they are purchased immediately.Yes.. my point was: out of perhaps 300?
