My new Moretti Volcano Commission (picture heavy)

After picking up a Moretti Volcano pipe a few weeks ago I have been working with Marco to make another custom volcano pipe for me. I sent him a picture of a volcano design I liked, we exchanged a few emails and within a week he created a true masterpiece for me. I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.
Here are some pictures of the process:

As always, Marco was great to work with. He communicated with me daily (sometimes several times a day) and sent picture updates along the way. He definitely put his twist on the design I originally sent to him and I think the end result turned out great.
The pipe won’t arrive for a few more days. I can’t wait to see it in person.

Concur. The grain is gorgeous. I've looked at several volcanos with flame grain but they've always been out of my league.

Now the hard part begins. I'm using this pipe as a bit of self-motivation. I won't smoke this pipe until my company hits a revenue target and I hit a weight loss target. I originally thought it would take 6 months to hit the revenue target but it appears that we'll get there in 2 or 3 months. Now it's time to focus on the weight...I can't wait to dig into my salad and celery for lunch. :?
This pipe will sit on my desk un-smoked until both goals are meet. I'll try to remember to update the thread in a few months when I smoke this pipe for the first time.

Beautiful volcano. I did the shape but tend to shy away from it because many have very thin walls at the top of the bowl which is not an aspect I dig. That one you have though seems to have very decent sized walls. Great pipe, and wonderful grain.
