My latest attempt at pipe carving.

Finish this one up today. Made from one of the blocks I bought on Ebay about 4 years ago. I was going for a Dublin shape but didn't get quite as much taper in the bowl as I wanted. This one has a couple of problems. First,I drilled the airway slightly off center and secondly the shank cracked as I was trial fitting the stem which was a molded vulcanite blank.Rustication was done with a Dremel,which took me about 2 hours,one little groove at a time.I plan on sending it out for a band which is why I left part of the shank un-rusticated.

not my style of pipe, but you did an excellent job.id like to carve my own pipe, but dont have much skill with woodcarving

i might just mess around with just a block of wood and carve a pipe shape, and if it comes out good, ill buy some good wood and make a pipe
