OK continued on from a previous post. I had a total TAD seizure and ordered most of Lane's bulk products as they are on sale.

HGL - Like it a lot as it is a light latakia blend. sweet smokiness.

Q1 - Not for me, too light. I'm not a huge aro guy.

BLWB - Tried it straight. It was OK. Actually I like Carter Hall better. Seeing it as a mixer now to add some nuttiness and slower burn to other mixes.

BCA - Not overly impressed. Extremely mild. Again, I'll use it as a mixer to slow down burn rate but looking for a better black cav for taste.

Black Raspberry - A freebie. Great pouch note, and even pre-lite inhale. I think I prefer this to cherry blends so I will actually buy some of this when its gone. Guess those sneaky folks at SMokingPipes knew what they were doing. Will use this as a mixer too.

LL 7 Match I'd call it a decent smoke, similar to drug store burley brands except cheaper and better quality. I'd use this to introduce aro smokers to burley/va blends before maybe giving them flakes.

TK 6 - A decent aro, with a slight hint of cherry. I say a step down from RLP 6 for me.

Hazelnut - Another Freebie. Didn't do anything for me in the taste dept. Will use it as a blender.

RLP 6 - I'd already smoked this before this order and knew I liked it, so I ordered 4 oz instead of 1 or 2 like the rest. Nice complexity and easy to smoke.

HG2000 - Haven't tried it yet.
Also on this order

Newminster Superior Rounds - NICE, in a corncob of course

Newminster Superior Navy Flake - OK, but a little on the weak side.

Stokkebye Luxury Navy Flake - Have yet to try

Stokkebye - Luxury Twist Flake - Have yet to try

Altadis - Fox & Hound - Have yet to try

Half & Half - Have yet to try (figure it will stay freshest the longest in its pouch)

1Q is the only Lane blend I've tried so far that I like. As far as your list goes, I do like Half & Half quite a bit. You might enjoy it.
I've been wanting to try Leo as well. It won an award, and it comes in a tin.

I like LL-7. It took a while after it was introduced for Forums members to try it and like it, but I think it is taking

hold. It has a lively flavor and is good early in the day or while doing something, when you don't want to direct

all your attention to a more complex tobacco. It's just a fine friendly blend.

Tried most of the lane blends, and love them all. Great tobacco at a great price. Also if you want to switch up great for mixing up too.

Have yet to try a Lane Limited product I did not at least like.
For my palate, and in order of love are: 1-Q, BL/WB, RLP-6, and BC-A.
Lane Hazelnut - I don't know what to make of it. Smells GREAT in the jar, but I can't taste it, even retro-inhaling.

Lane Black Raspberry - Newminster Blackberry Brandy is better (even though a diff berry).

Lane LL-7 - Same as Lane Hazelnut, eh.

Lane HGL - Mr. Lane's initials. Please, there are over 100 great English/Latakia blends to choose from.
Lane Ltd makes good stuff!

Tried the Lane HG2000. WOW. I think I have found my new Burley blend. Smooth, slow burning, great nutty taste, and a little kick. This might actually replace Carter Hall as my Burley go to blend.
Also tried Stokkebye Luxury Navy - Better than Westminster Navy. Tried Stokkebye Luxury Twist, yummy a definite keeper. I just cellared the two Stokkebye blends and will smoke up the Westminster Navy and Westminster Slices I have. The Slices were nice too, will be ordering them and the Stokkebyes again.

professorwheezy,
You did exactly what I was planning on doing. Ordering a couple ounces and trying two or three bowls before moving on. If anything the ones I do not like will get put up for mixing with other baccys I do not like.
