I read that a few months ago and enjoyed it, uneven and occasionally obscure as his writing was.

I developed a pair of home blends based on the Arcadia Mixture (one an attempted repro of/homage to the Carreras Craven Mixture, the other a flavorful oriental-forward blend), and have been enjoying them since.
Since Grangerous provided us the link, I have started reading this and really enjoy it. I like the flow and the timeframe of the writing.
Also, with an update to my starting of this thread, I have been smoking Burley blends almost exclusively since I started with Granger, Pegasus and Winchester. My Virginias and English's are looking at me with contempt as I walk past them with my burleys.
I swear I think I heard one of them murmur, "whore" at one point.

I looked online and found this:

"J. M. Barrie, best known as the creator of Peter Pan, was a valued customer during the 1890’s. When he wrote “My Lady Nicotine” (which was published in 1890) he centered the story around a mythical tobacco called Arcadia Mixture. It did not take long before Carreras realized that the only tobacco Barrie bought was the Craven Mixture. In January 1897 Barrie confirmed to Don José that Arcadia Mixture and Craven Mixture were one and the same. Shortly after that Carreras began using Barrie’s endorsement in his advertising. Craven Mixture sales increased rapidly at home and abroad."
