My Grandfather’s Pipes - Score!!

I was talking with a cousin about the recent loss of his wife and all of a sudden he says “hey, you smoke pipes right?” I obviously responded in the affirmative.

He then related that he had three of my grandfather’s pipes that were given to his father and my grandfather passed.

His father, my uncle passed, and my cousin ended up with the pipes.

Last night I went over, shared some bourbon, played cribbage, and he gave me these three pipes and six pipe stand.

I’m excited beyond words.

The Meer is a no-name Meer, the Danish Style is also no-name. The Billiard is a Butz-Choquin.

I’m going to get them cleaned up and put them in rotation. Here’s a few pics.
