got my pipes in the mail today well yesterday just haven't gone to bed yet. 3 of them look great need cleaning though and 3 have mold in them i read ways on here of how to clean a moldy pipe and hope to not have to deal with mold in my own pipes ever. 1 bowl came half full of tobacco so not surprised that one has mold in it no ideal how long its been sitting in it for.

can anyone tell me if the stem screws into the shank and both sides are metal are those the style people referrer to as military pipe?

Nice little lot of pipes there. Looks like some interesting pipes. Good luck with the cleaning and getting rid of that mold. As for the military pipes I believe you're referring to military mounts and I don't see any that look to have a military mount. I could be mistaken but I'm not seeing one.

here are my frist 3 just as the before starting working on them.just putting what ever stamps i can find on them to help if anyone know the brand.

dr grabow nothing special about the stem so i didnt take a pic

pipemaker (imported briar) just putting what ever stamps i can find on them to help if anyone know the brand.

this one has metal for the shank and stem

just says imported briar no image on stem or stamps anywhere else i can find

will have pics up of the next three sometime tomorrow as for know i am tired and need sleep then when these dry from cleaning i will have pics of finished cant wait to see how they all turn out.

and a side note the sitting bulldog dose not sit to well empty the stem seems to be to heavy but mabe once it is full of tobacco it will sit will have to find out once i am done cleaning it.

Neat! Those metal stingers will pull out, and the pipe will probably smoke better without them.

Been gone for a couple days from house couldn't get pictures up. Here are the first 3 i finished, I will have the last 3 pics up tomorrow later into the day or early Monday depending on how work goes. Beefeater you will have to wait tell tomorrow to see that one.

First is bent sitting bulldog (sadly dose not like to sit and i don't think i can train this one)(still cant make out who made it the letters are really faded this is what i got so far (La_______ Royal))

second is the pipe maker one

3rd is the grand duke Dr Grabow
