Those were the days, my friend. Amazing Pheasant Run provided a venue all those years. When the Chicago show reemerges, whenever and wherever that is, I think it will be as good again.

Thank you for the article, Kevin.

On October 5, 2021, Tim Garrity from CPCC reported:

"It is with great sadness that Frank Burla, founder of the Chicago Pipe Show, has passed.
Frank was the man behind the show and the CPCC.
Smoke a pipe in his honor."

This whole Chicago show thing is a communal willful self-delusion, and now Kevin is throwing fuel on the fire.

It's outrageous, and he should be ashamed of himself.

What next? "Photos and memories" of when everyone in the PipeWorld had yachts and private jets, a personal staff of Swedish models, and a walk-in locker of 50 year old Scotch and pre-revolution Cuban cigars?

No, don't believe this elaborate digital deception, pm.commers... an aircraft hangar-sized room filled with thousands upon thousands of high grade pipes? Room after room after room of a giant resort hotel filled with hundreds of knowledgeable, friendly people from all over the world? Restaurants and lounges everywhere? And nothing to do for DAYS but interact with all those things???

That's insane.

Sorry, it simply never happened. It's not real. It CAN'T be real...
