My first Castello

Why do I think Castello are great pipes, but don't want to use Italian tobacco for them?

The middle from the left is my favorite pipe of all time. Smokes great. When I saw it I had to have it. Wasn't cheap. Castello says it's a billiard. Came from Pipes2Smoke. A sponsor here. I only smoke Watch City 558 in those Castello's.

It’s a shape 215 “fancy billiard” a favorite shape of mine and a new piece is definitely not cheap!

I smoked one of my fancy billiards the other day. Dang the button is huge, forgot just how big that thing is. I think that I'll be doing some work to it, as I find it too big.

I'm good with the buttons on the five I own. Wouldn't change anything. I guess I'm not that fussy.

Thanks for sharing this.
I had come across this one way back, got really excited when I saw that it was listed as Shape 34.
But, upon closer examination, it doesn't have a wavy rim and the bowl is round.
What I would consider the ideal shape 34, is wavy rim top, out of round bowl (elliptical) and an elliptical shank/stem, which in fact the one you posted does have.
But I do appreciate you taking the time to share it with me.
