Bad news this morning, the docs nurse called me and told me that they did not get the stone out and that they want to do a lithotripsy( that is when the blast the stone with ultra sound to break it up, had that done three times already).They want to do it on the 27th while keeping the stent in till then. the lomgest i ever had a stent inwas a week and that was torture. so no way I amm letting them keep one in that long. She said they are afraid my uterer will collapse if they take it out sooner which will cause all kinds of problems. i have a call into doc and am telling him he has to do it sooner. Woke up in freaking agony this morning. The pain meds I have for my back don;'t do much formkidney stone pain. I wish the stillm perscribed Demerol. that was the nest foe kidney stone pain I am goimg to my reglar internest in an hour to see what kind of meds he can get me mot my pain as I cannot live like this.

One time was in the hospital for 6 days on a demerol drip it was so bad. this is prety damn close.

Feel so bad for you, man. Any chance you can go to the Emergency room? If the pain is that bad, I think you should consider it. You shouldn't have lay there in so much pain!

Call 911 and the ambulance, and tell them its an emergency. Which it is.

I believe you can still get demorol if you go to the hospital. My mom is alergic to it but when I told that to the nurse I was told it is still used at certain times. I just made sure my mom would not get it at all.
I hope your doctor can help you prior to the 27th. That is not good waiting over 2 weeks for additional treatment.

Harris keep that stent in as long as you can , I went through same thing and made the doc pull the stent . My uretha or urterer collapsed and they ended up have to run an angioplas(mispelled) balloon on me . Busted two balloons and were at the limit on the third when they finally got it . It was a freakin nightmare . I have had 7 stones since . Passed 5 and had to have two surgically removed . I feel your pain my friend . Hang in there !!!
