@Ahi Ka Probably because they break so easily I broke one in Nantwich emptying the ash out in a pub ashtray:-( One of the Sealed Knot re-enactors showed me how to tap the ash out of a clay pipe by GENTLY tapping the pipe against the back of my handIf we are talking most sold ever, my money’s on the simple clay

This seems to be a more specific request than just what shape. I would guess that the answer to your question would be either one of the Dunhills or Petersons. I have no idea which one. What is the most sold pipe?
Make and model.
@CoffeeAndBourbon I'm keeping the "Gawith tobacco in a clay pipe" tradition going strongAnd they have been selling them for centuries
@El Capitán I started with a clayClay Pipes are the oldest style sold I would imagine. Corn Cobs are what alot of people start with. Briars would probably be Peterson brand or Dunhills.
