I made my weekly visit to My tobacco store. I picked up a tin of Sutliff Molto Dolce. Looks like it will be an aromatic blend, but for the price I had to get it. I'll use it in my corn cob in about a half hour. I'm starting to like the English blends better. I'll use thr corn cob for this one. I'll let you all know what I think. The only other aromatics I have and using up are 7 seas, and half and half. Later.:)
honestly seems like a blend that is quite liked. A lot of non aro smokers talk about craving it. In other words I am going to have to try it.

Hope you like it. I couldn't stand the stuff due to the goopy wetness, and I don't dislike good aromatics. I found it hard to light and keep lit, and it was too sweet for my tastes. A lot of people like it, though.

it is amazing how for me a lot of pipe tobaccos seem not really different until I've smoked through them a little bit. Once I've done that the differences start standing out in a really stark kind of way.
I found that very true with English blends. At first Night Cap, Star of the East, etc all tasted the same. After smoking a lot of it I can pick out the ratio of tobaccos now.

So true. Though for me the biggest oh my god what a difference experience with a blend makes... are the oriental blends. They always taste great but the details always hide at first. They're like that shy cat that waits a few hours before coming out from under the couch.

lol I still dont have a lot of experience with Orientals yet. I've had a few blends that had it in them but they weren't the star of the show.

they're not ones I smoke a lot. This may sound weird but I only smoke them when I really want to focus almost exclusively on the pipe. When I really just want to meditate on smoking a pipe. I feel like they deserve the full of our attention.

Bought a tin yesterday. Started feeling crummy so I haven’t touched it. Smells great. Suppose it will be a bit dryer when I can finally light up.

Doubtful. This is a blend that just does not dry naturally.

However, it is a legit aromatic with decent taste and room note. The "snap, crackle, pop" when you smoke it adds to the experience.

If you enjoy Molto Dolce and want it a little cheaper, the bulk version is Sutliff Creme Brulee.

Feel better and enjoy.

I really wish this pipe tobacco and Cult blood red moon would be available also in Europe. I really would like to try those.

Are there laws prohibiting import?
Tobacco can be imported easily when I come to Finland from abroad.
Its not legal to order tobacco products.
We are allowed to receive 50g of pipe tobacco (or 10 cigars) from other countries without taxes.
If the gift exeeds 50g we have to pay taxes.
It´s not easy to live in Finland:)

I've left this stuff out for 6-7 hours, one time, it was still moist, granted not as moist as it was straight from the can.
In fact, I had some drying out on Friday night, packed a couple of bowls on Saturday, didn't get to smoke them, only to fire one up last night (Monday) it was still moist! Smoked great though and I don't think you'll be disappointed.
Hope you're feeling better.
