I just tried MD for the first time recently and when I opened the tin and got a whiff I thought "OMG, what an overbearing tin note". But I've been down this road before and have previously encountered blends with an overbearing tin note but a nice smooth taste. MD is the same way. It'll go into my rotation. Maybe not an every day smoke but a definite change in pace.

On Saturday I opened the tin and put a few grams of it on paper plate, the rest in a jar. Finally tonight, Tuesday, it was dry enough to smoke. The first third of the pipe was delightful; the rest of the bowl was still pretty good...for an aro.
Missouri Meercham Great Dane is the closest I have come across - both great for indoor winter smoking; it keeps my better half much happier than good old English blends.
molto dolce, I hear is a good tasting tobacco, and that it smells really good, also heard that the tobacco will make you pipe gurgle, so keep a pipe cleaner just in case.
Love these zombie threads. Always impressed by how many (former participant) members in these threads just disappeared. Gone. Some of it may be due to the endless, "Top Five Blends" "Best VaPer" etc threads. At some point the redundancy causes boredom, either that or they just quit piping.
