Mold on G.L. Pease Union Square?

Hi guys, check out these pictures of my Union Square that has been jarred up for a year and half. I'm almost completely sure this is mold, but I want to see if anyone here can help me confirm that.

I'm sorry for your loss. Jarring up tobaccos from tins is tricky business. I lost a BUNCH of Haddos Delight by moving them from the large pound sized tins to smaller portions in jars. I am very reluctant to try that again.

This has me a bit worried as I have many 8 ounce cans aging and planned on rejarring when I opened them. Just have to smoke faster

Just checked my jarred stash from 6/2018. No problem so far.

I have never jarred C&D products and I've never had mold... odd.

That is some funky looking death mold.

C&D, the gift that keeps on giving. So far, nothing I've rejarred has become moldy. Dry climate, clean jarring area, probably contribute to that.
