Those are beautiful lithe pipes that look like they don't weigh much, which can be an attribute. The shanks and stems look fragile because of their slenderness. Are they reinforced inside in some way? Or are they stronger than they look? Their length might make them a little heavy on the teeth, with leverage and all. But they are gorgeous.
Yes Sir, these are quite light pipes ,weighing in around 1 oz /28 to 30gr as far the stem /shank is concerned I have to admit the shank is indeed is quite fragile similarly to any Dunhill shell Briar Canadians , though this metal or silver bad adds some strength to construction,

I have the very same pipe, pretty pleased with it ,draw /drill is pretty wide open ca 4mm)considering the price thrse are very well made, french school' pipes nontheless based on my research chamber depth in these is little bit less than in those from mercahandservice.com
