At what point does the member status change from "NEW MEMBER"? What are the progression parameters?

At either 100 or 200 posts I think. I believe different membership levels are primarily determined by number of posts.
It's a combination of post count and time spent participating. Newbie status ends at 100 posts AND 4 months of activity. Different levels of member status used to be posted on the splash page in the old forum format, and I don't know where to find it now, if it is even still posted.
Don’t be in a rush tho bc the membership fees go up with each elevation in status….

It doesn't matter bro, if you like this forum, come in everyday, read what other members comment, post your thoughts and what you want to chat about in new thread, comment on other members comment if you have things to say, automatically you will be in different status ?Honestly, I like this forum a lot. No, but you might feel taxed by some of the jokes around here.
The days element isn't being used. I've not been here for 180 days yet.
I was thinking of the standard for being able to buy and sell pipes and tobaccos here. Wow! Only 30 days to get ful membership status.
It's funny how arbitrary distinctions that bear no meaning cause so much anxiety.

When you become a preferred member, you have to supply each other preferred member with a pound of his or her favorite tobacco.

Try archiving a few thousand posts and having the number of "likes" any particular guy has gotten drop. Then you know what the 4 horsemen feel delivering apocalypse, I swear.
