I had an account that I stopped using a few years ago and I was a preferred member, but it was deactivated probably for being not used for so long

Probably just need to reset it since the format upgrade.

They'll happily remove your name from their mailing list. I simply emailed them. They started sending me applications and stuff at age 50. That was 25 years ago and I haven't heard a peep out of them since.

None of these standards are rigorous so just about anybody can be a Preferred Member by the time they have a year in.

A number of people here, moi included, had special titles, which went away with change to the new platform. Maybe ask the PTB if they will grant you a custom title, like "tuck and roll".
