There are a bunch of colored 'cutty' pipes on my 'All Things Cutty' blog along with some thoughts on how they colored these pipes back in the 1880s and how you can repeat the experience today.

My suggestion would be, "Want a white pipe? Get on of those old Kaywoodies painted white." I simply don't understand wanting a Meerschaum you can't smoke because you don't want it to color.
I may be too cynical but, I have the feeling we are being "shined on." Hopefully, that's not too colloquial.
