Thanks! I don't think I'll ever get over how feather light meerschaum is. The newest one has virtually no weight at all.
I like the shape but have always shied away from such for that very reason.
Ditto. One reason I don't like cutty shapes or anything canted forwards for that matter.
The thing about this one though is that there is no forward cant to the chamber. The back of the bowl is so high that you can't see into the chamber. If the rim was level instead of slanted, there would be no issue. I solved the problem by drawing before bringing the flame down and the downdraft of the draw pulled the flame to the chamber instead of the rim.

Nah, just the two. I really don't have a rotation, just switch pipes every few weeks or so. I'm moving towards only a handful of smokers and a few display only pieces.
Same here. I’m trying to get my collection down to 25 pipes. 5 lookers and 20 smokers. Good luck, it’s a difficult task....especially when people keep giving you pipes. ?
