McClelland's Hits My Rotation

How does this compare with McClelland's other English blends? I'm familiar with 3OS, Yin Highlander, Coyote Classic full, Wilderness, and P.M. Pipe.
Some of us appreciate the quality leaf and nuances in flavor from virginias that only McClelland achieved. And then there are those people that couldn't tell the difference from Paladin Black Cherry.
I don't need to spend any more money right now but if anyone is willing to part with two tins down the road I'd certainly purchase from you. The reviews are very good for sure.
Gourmet English has already disappeared from the Iwan Ries website thanks to this thread. Told ya it would be gone by today.

Just called them. I thought maybe it was possible they pulled what was left to sell only in the store. Nope, totally sold out.
Wow, I was just passing along what I learned. I didn't want to make anyone cry about it. If you've never had it and got some to try, cool. If you've had it and already knew it was a McClelland Blend, sorry to have outed your super secret knowledge.

Side note - I "heard" McClelland's was also the manufacturer of Mixture 79 and Captain Black Cherry.

I got mine in the mail, paid the taxman more than I wanted, but it's all good. And mostly forgotten now that it's all gone
Just got a call from IR. They said they've had a huge run on this blend and are limiting purchases to 2 tins per customer. So congrats to those who got in on more before they got wise. While I find it a little annoying, I do think it's good business practice and will allow a lot more people to try it.

I got the same call about my 10 tins. I explained to them I'm 3 miles away and they ARE my brick & mortar tobaccconist. Go after the guy from Utah that ordered 100 tins, not your local customers willing to walk in and pay the 28.5% tax. They wisely decided to go ahead and send me my 10 tins.
They had no clue why they had such an insane run on it overnight either.....I explained it to them LOL
Yes, they would. I had the same thing happen this morning. I asked if they would still do free shipping, he said yes. I added some more tins of another blend so it was a non event.
