They sell these for $2 each at Wal-Mart. The 10oz version is what I use for up to 3oz of tobacco at a time, they are nice because they are perfectly airtight and have a wide opening to stick your hand inside. They have three sizes of these in Wal-Mart, the 10oz is the tiny version.

Damn computer keyboards and the mistakes they make.................
Correct reading would have been @xray - I found what I believe are the same oval Avery printable labels you show in your picture and look forward to getting them on all my jars when I have time.

bigmike, I got these labels:
http://www.labelsbythesheet.com/items/natural-ivory-labels/natural-ivory-oval-labels/2-1-4-x-1-oval-natural-ivory-label-sheet-br-usually-ships-same-day-w3-9o-detail.htm
I'm not sure if they're made by Avery or not but they're damn inexpensive. I like the ivory labels better than the white ones. The template download is also on that page.
The font I used was "Brush Script." I used size 18 in bold for the brand name and the same size in non-bold for the blend name (size 16 for some with long names). Let me know if you need any help when you get them.

Quart size Mason jars are about $15/dozen here. How much baccy can a quart size jar hold? I just found an article in the interim and discovered it will hold 8 ounces.

I use vacuum sealed bags. Buy them at any Grocery store for a couple bucks.I suck the air out and the bag is air tight. The bags are reusable to. I take out about 3 ounces to smoke and seal the bulk back up again. I've been doing that for years now.
I put my opened tins in large wide mouth peanut jars that have a rubber seal in the cap. My tins last longer inside another container. I bought some Ball jars today to try out. I might store my vacuumed seal bags inside the Mason jars for protection. If I'm buying pounds of Tobacco, they must last long enough to smoke up eventually.
I've tried many containers that said they were air tight, but leaked air and the tobacco dried out really bad. The vacuum sealing works the best I've found. If the bag is totally collapsed, the tobacco is fresh. No guessing if air is getting inside. It really does a great job. Cheap to.

So I got 25 count of the Iwan Ries "Perma-Moist Tobacco Pouch"
They're a metallic bag with plastic lining, and a good ziploc at the top. Not too big, they probably only hold about two ounces. But they will do nicely for the small amounts of several blends I have lying around from trades.
That cheap 12er of mason jars from farmandfleet.com will be here soon.

I was at the grocery store yesterday and ran across a wide variety of jars from just a few ounces to quart size. I bought a dozen 8 ounce jars and they seem to be just the ticket for holding a 50g tin.

What I found to work best for me is the plastic cylinder jars with the hinge and rubber seal on them. You can find them at Target, Wal-Mart, K-Mart etc. and they're fairly well priced. A jar big enough for 8oz of tobacco is around $6 and a jar big enough for pound runs around $10. They should be in with the cookware.
