Yes. I brought some with me to Nova Scotia and plan on lighting some up this week. To be honest, I’ve enjoyed every Esoterica blend I’ve been lucky enough to get a hold of thus far; I especially enjoy Pembroke.

When I heard that years ago, I jumped all over Pembroke. But much prefer Margate. Pembroke is gone, and I am lucky to have 4-5 pounds of Margate, plus a half dozen tins.
Relatively easier to acquire than some of the other Esoterica unicorns and more enjoyable, in my opinion.

These are the only 2 eso blends I have in my cellar. I’ve never smoked any of these or their other offerings. Is their a peak age to smoke these at?
I let mine age a few (4-5) years, but agree, fine as is.

I think Margate is the smoothest English blend that I've tried so far.

Margate/Pembroke and Dorchester are my faves by Esoterica. Everything I've had has been great, but these just hit right every smoke.
Yes, that’s the double edged sword in asking this question. Margate and Pembroke and even Dorchester - I prefer over the unicorns.
According to the manufacturer, upon purchase. They scoffed at the notions of cellaring and aging. I've got many pounds of Margate and Pembroke put up but Pembroke is the favorite to smoke straight.
I can only speak of Germain's 1820 or Special Latakia Flake from that stable. SLF is the one to have, unsatisfying out of a fresh tin, very nice creamy virginia/oriental/lat (in that order) after a couple of weeks breathing in a jar, very lat forward but still smooth after a few years in a jar.

Well, like you I don’t cellar for the benefits of aging per se. I’d rather have tobacco to open some far off rainy day, even if past prime or faded topping, than no tobacco to open.
Hearing the manufacturer suggestion won’t get me opening these any sooner than the natural course of smoking through my cellar. It’ll be ok though. As a Lifer, I will rise above these circumstances
