I imagine I very well might love it if it was, you know... obtainable. 😅

I've never had any luck getting my hands on an Esoterica drop personally, and I've been keeping a real watchful eye out for about 3 years now. They seem impossible to get online barring paying exorbitant prices at auction, and none of my local shops ever get any Esoterica blends in. So, I'll just keep on waiting and hope that someday their supply situation improves enough that I can try some of their rather legendary blends. Stonehaven and Tilbury are the two that always sounded the most enticing to me!

I too enjoy Margate on occasion. It’s very smooth and almost like chocolate at times. Sometimes I prefer Pembroke to it. I haven’t opened any of my 1820 tins and wonder what that will be like as it has a high Virginia content. They make unique blends that are unlike anything else on the market. The new Penzance is also pretty good, but I feel like it’d do better with some age, so I’m not touching the jar for a few years. I don’t think they are doing the tin aging anymore like they used to as the papers aren’t stained brown in the tins. They are still really good blends that burn better than anything else I’ve had. All of the Esoterica/Germain’s line up has been excellent, but they are sweeter, velvety smooth blends that are more aromatic. Sometimes, I prefer the drier more brash Balkan blends that are more savory and in your face.
