Malt Vinegar On French Fries

Our favorite burger and shake stop, Five Guys, still offers malt vinegar. If I'm not in the mood for the sweetness of catsup, though I often am, the vinegar makes a tasty alternative. I want what I want, says my inner three-year-old, so I like the choice.

Now, wherever I order fries I ask for malt vinegar. If not available I’ll eat them with yellow mustard. I’m not big on ketchup….

I normally have it at a fish and chips place. Also 5 guys is the only burger joint I’ve seen it offered at here. It sure is good.

Five Guys is one of the few places that actually give you TOO MANY fries. I put the bag in the passenger side wheel well at some point so I stop eating them only to stretch to reach the bag at a stop light.
