I recently tried all of the Mac Baren HH blends except Rustica. These are very good quality tobaccos, with Latakia Flake being my favorite as an easy-to-rub flake English tobacco. The others are good representatives of their type: Burley, Kentucky, Virginia. I've added a little bit of the very strong Bold Kentucky to the bottom of a bowl of milder tobacco and I liked the flavor effect without making the tobacco stronger than "medium".

The now discontinued HH Acadian Perique and HH Mature Virginia are regular favorites of mine.
I had a season of HH Latakia Flake, intrigued by Islay malt flavors transitioning to cedar.

I'm not one to lament long lost blends, but the Acadian Perique and Vintage Syrian were great blends.

The HH Burley Flake, ODF and Bold Kentucky are among my favorite daily tobaccos. There aren’t any bad tobaccos in the HH line imo.

Agreed, though Acadian is the only one I totally missed out on (even scored some Vintage Syrian earlier this year).
The only one I don’t think stands out is HH Balkan. It’s good, as they all are, but not (to me) very special.
With age, HH Pure VA has turned into something very special. It has quickly become a favorite.

I smoked a lot of Vintage Syrian when it was available. It was a year round favorite for me where I typically only smoke heavier Latakia blends in cooler months. I think I'm down to two tins at this point.

The HH blends are ALL top-tier tobaccos
HH Virginia Flake was a tobacco I fell in love with instantly, and hope to try HH Burley Flake soon, as I’m segueing into burleys.
HH Old Dark Fired is a real quality blend. I also like HH Rustica.
If all I had to smoke were HH blends, I would feel well provisioned.
All of the HH blends I’ve hd have been fantastic and especially HH Latakia Flake. They do a fine job !
Tried Acadian Perique, Pure VA, Lat. Flake, and ODF. Liked them all except for the last one. Just not my thing, I guess. Fortunately, it was only a sample.
Just an FYI, VA Flake isn't part of the HH line. But I too fell in love with it right off the bat. Sweeter and smoother than Pure VA IMHO, although the both of them are certainly the cream of the crop for their category in my eyes.
For some reason, the only HH blends you can find in Korea at the moment is Acadian Perique. I guess it got left behind while the other more popular hh blends got sold out. After reading some of you mentioning Acadian Perique, I feel like trying it out soon
Agreed, all thoe Barens HH blends are of impeccable quality,but unfortunately Here across the pond prices for this very hh line have increased quite significantly over the past two years or so,

Although the HH blends are made here in Denmark, it's not possible to buy them here
It's only made for export.
I'll try it, I also found that bitter note in Pure Virginia (smoked young) a bit annoying.
