Just picked up one of the Harp 444's and a sandblasted 309 and loving them quite a lot. Glad to see Peterson reaching back into their old catalog for new releases. I'd really love to see a nice, big Dublin come some time soon. The 120 is just too small for me. I'd love them to do the old school A4 or one of the B16/47/57 shapes. What would you like to see re-released by Peterson?

I wish they'd bring back the original sized 999 John Bull like they did with the Pipe Of The Year 2019. I prefer it to the current 999, which in fact was originally the 998, a smaller version. In fact I rarely smoke the current sized anymore. So, Peterson, please swap the numbers back as they were originally, and bring back the beefier 999.

I agree with every word of this post. I'd be down for the B57

Did you see there's one of these for sale in SmokingPipes estates?

I agree with that. The only 999 I have is an old Dublin and London John Bull. Do not like the dimensions of what passes for a 999 these days.

I remember seeing a number of new 2019 POTYs when I was looking around a while ago. What finish are you looking for?

And yes, the 999 need to be restored to it's full, rotund glory.

Amen! That’s exactly what I was going to write. I love the chunky bullmoose shape.

I’m torn. One Peterson shape in particular for me is a white whale pipe, but I’m trying to think whether if it were reissued and readily available if that would somehow rob some of the joy of stumbling upon one - I daren’t say “the hunt” as I am not actively looking for one, nor really expect to ever find one.

The current Sherlock Squire is bigger and better than both--in my opinion, of course. One of my favorite pipes of all time.
