Ok, well if the shank has to be twice as long as the bowl height, then I guess mine is just some kind of anomaly.4.75" is still > 4.52".
Bear in mind, I'm calling "stem" the whole part from the spot it joins the bowl to the tip. What others call stem I call the "mouthpiece". So, to me shank + mouthpiece = stem.
Aaaand, others claim that the mouthpiece doesn't count in terms of judging dimensions to group pipes into a category. So, to them, your pipe is a mere billiard with a saddle stem.
In the previous thread where we discussed it I tentatively decided to call it an Ontarioan. Maybe I should stick with that.
