Lost Package?

I put in an order on SmokingPipes.com on September 25 and have yet to receive my package. The order was promptly shipped the following day, but my last tracking update was September 30. I assume this is due to the hurricane. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing any delays?

I received 2 orders from sp.com ordered 9/23 and 10/8. Also from Wisco of course.

It could very well be considering how it was routed. Under the current status there is in smaller letters
"See All Tracking History". which shows the various stages that it was recorded.

Call them. They’re lovely people over there.

I see that, it was routed to 3 locations with no update since the 30th.

I contacted them. They put a tracer on and told me to contact them again in a week or so If I don’t get it.

I had 8oz of tobacco that did not get delivered after almost two weeks once from SP. I called SP and they said I had to wait about a week to see if the postal svc could could find it. They could not. SP re-sent the order with no charge. SP is a class act in my opinion.

Agreed, never had any problems before with SmokingPipes. I posted more about the USPS and possible delays.

Apparently it is an issue with my order and not more global, as @didimauw received his orders and we are basically neighbors.

For what it's worth, I last ordered from SP on the 1st of October (the day after Helene dissipated) and if you drew a straight line from there to here, runs right through the disaster area. Though that doesn't mean the USPS distribution network from there to here runs through that area.

Anyway, I got my order on time, no delay.

I've never had any problem with smoking pipes getting whatever I ordered. They will either find the item or ship another to you.

If I order on a Monday from SP my stuff will be in my mailbox on Wednesday. I've had stuff shipped from inside Texas that took longer.

Asheville has been a major hub for things passing through the Blue Ridge for 100 years. I hope that your package isn't floating down the French Broad.

The mail is always a lottery but most things eventually get found. Id imagine SP will make it right with no issue if it doesnt appear.

Sorry to hear, I’d assume with the hurricane and typical mail problems, these are the issues.

I placed this order on October 3rd and received it on October 7th out here Ground Advantage.




The first time I looked up the tracking it was showing upwards of closer to like 16 days. So I was really shocked when it arrived in only 4 days way out here.

It is high enough up the mountain that it faired well. But, most of Hot Springs was washed away, as well as Marshall. We’ve been in constant touch with my wife’s brother who works for the sheriff, and we will go up to help with recovery next month. But, it will be a long time before traffic can move easily about there. When one road washes out, it isolates entire communities up there.

Right now, we can’t even access our cabin.

I'll be in Burnsville next month. The church sent a scouting expedition to a church there we are partnered with today. Getting the logistics together as to when the community needs us and what they need us to do. It's going to be a long process. We've been sending trailor fulls of supplies every week.

thanks for the update. I hate when people make a thread like this and leave it hanging for years.
