For burley devotees, Cornell & Diehl is a definite resource. Back in its old days in Pennsylvania and North Carolina, the Tarlers rediscovered burley as a blender's leaf, from its former role as dependable old base tobaccos or codger OTC blends. Now a part of our sponsor SP, they have a somewhat vast menu of blends many of which use burley as a base or condiment and are done with the full range of the blender's art.

I'm definitely a burley devotee, and without intending to, my primary rotation consists of all C&D Burleys: Pegasus, Haunted Bookshop, Old Joe Krantz, Redburn, and Night Train. I have a couple non-C&D, non-burleys going at any given time (flakes and plugs), but I love the common denominator of these blends in that they are all quick and easy to pack into a bowl codger-style and just get smokin'.

I might suggest Peretti Cuban mixture. It is a Burley based mixture with probably the highest number of different leaves (they claim 9) including Latakia and Oriental. Nothing even close to be called English or Oriental but very tasty and very low nic.
